Sehlare Sa Meetlwa (“SSM”) means a deeply rooted thorn tree, and symbolises the rich cultural diversity of the mining industry, together with a strongly rooted history of economic growth and cultural collaboration in which our goals of service delivery and client satisfaction is embedded.

SSM offers civil engineering, construction management, and project support services to mining clients within the Northern Cape Province of South Africa. Our unique blend of local on-site expertise for construction projects within the mining industry has ensured client success in recent years.

The 51% majority of SSM is owned by its local employees in the Northern Cape and Atlega, our Non-Profit Company, the remaining 49% is owned by VBKOM.
